Hi mate

Here's your answer

Kashmir experienced the coldest day with day temperatures dropping to 15.1 degrees celsius even as dense fog continued to disrupt railway services.

The maximum temperature today was five notches below normal. The minimum settled at 8.9 degrees celsius, two notches above the season's average, said a MeT department official.

The city witnessed moderate to dense fog which disrupted rail services, leading to cancellation of 66 trains and delay of 16 others. Flight operations, however, remained normal.

"Visibility was recorded 1,000 metres at 5.30 AM which dropped to 500 metres at 8:30 AM. It then improved to 800 metres at 11.30 AM and further to 1,000 metres at 2.30 PM," said the official.

Humidity levels oscillated between 97 and 70 per cent.

The weatherman has predicted mainly clear sky tomorrow.

"The skies will be mainly clear. Shallow to moderate fog would occur at most places while dense foggy conditions will be witnessed at isolated places. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 17 and 8 degrees Celsius, respectively, tomorrow," the official said.

Yesterday, maximum temperature was recorded at 15.7 degrees Celsius while the minimum was 8.9 degrees celsius.
