The politicians get through to the public using the media as a means of communication. The agenda of the parties is presented either through the print media or the electronic media. The public comes to know about the schemes and plans of the political parties when it is published. During elections, it is found that awareness is spread through the media. During the recent elections in India, we saw different parties using different channels on television to sway the public opinion. Their representatives spoke about their policies and made promises through television.
