Newtons First law of Motion :

Every body continues to be in its state of rest or of uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled by some external force to act otherwise.

Importance :

It gives the concept of inertia and force and enables us to define them .

From this law it can be concluded that , the acceleration of an object is zero if there is no external force acting on it.

Newtons Second law of Motion :

The rate of change of momentum of a body is directly proportional to the resultant or net external force acting on the body and takes place in the direction in which the force acts .

Importance :

It relates the net external force to the acceleration of the body.

Newtons Third law of Motion :

To every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction.

Importance :

It tells us the origin of external force on the body that causes acceleration.
