Newtons three law of motion and its application
Answers
2nd law gives us f =ma are u talking about this ?? force is directly proportional to momentum??
3rd law gives us every action has an equal and opposite reaction although there are 3 laws 2 law is main and gives us law of conservation of linear momentum which u will later
.Newton's second law - the rate of change of momentum is proportional to the imposed force and goes in the direction of the force
is that u mean ??
the. u don't have the feeling for physics
1). Newton's first law:- An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
ITS APPLICATION:- Newton's first law of motion applies to objects both on earth and in space.
2).Newton's second law:- The second law relates the force to the change in momentum. Momentum gives you a picture of 'amount' of motion contained in a body. Momentum of a body changes when:
.You move a body in rest
.You stop a body in motion
.You accelerate or decelerate a moving body
.You change its direction (momentum is a vector quantity)
For performing the above tasks, you are required to apply a force on the body. You need to apply a force whose magnitude is dependent on both mass and velocity of the body. Momentum is the product of mass and velocity, so it incorporates both the aspects.
3).Newton's third law:- To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction'. It must be remembered that action and reaction always act on different objects.
ITS APPLICATIONS:- The ball exerts an equal and opposite force on the bat. This is the reaction force. Such an interaction pair is another example of Newton's Third Law. The baseball forces the bat in one direction and the bat forces the ball in the opposite direction.
