NH3 is polar wheares NF3 is almost nonpolar why?

Answer:

The electronegativity of Fluorine is higher than the hydrogen and the dipole moment of NF3 is zero but the dipole moment of NH3 is not zero .So, that NH3 is polar whereas NF3 is non-polar.

The main point is of dipole moment because when dipole moment is zero than the substance will be non-polar but when the dipole moment is non zero then the the substance will be Polar.
