Nicola and Jacopo reaffirm the narrator's faith on humanity because if their hard work at a very tender age .they did a lot of work at a very small age and their self respectiveness by not taking help from anyone reaffirm the narrator's faith on humanity

difficulties of life shattered human values. poverty, hunger, losing a parent and becoming homeless are enough to shatter human beings. in such a situation, often morality and values are compromised and children can take to immoral selfish behaviour.
In the story two gentlemen of Verona, the two children suffered very badly yet they held on to a high values of hard work, devotion, love, care, honesty, self dependency and self respect.
