Nicolo Paganini is a well known and gifted nineteenth century violinist. He is also known for his quick sense of humour. His most memorable concert is in Italy with a full orchestra. He is performing before a sacked house and the audience dearly love him. Towards the end of his concert, Paganini is astounding his audience with an unbelievable composition when suddenly one string on his violin snaps and hangs limply from his instrument. Paganini frowns briefly, shakes his head, and continues to play, improvising beautifully. rewrite into past tense
