• Like India, Nigeria is a country of diverse religion and ethnic population.
• Both the countries are the largest economy in their respective region.
• They are rich in diverse natural and economic resources.
• Both India and Nigeria are members of the Non Aligned Movement (NAM),  G-77  and the Commonwealth of Nations.
