What is Refraction ?
• Refraction is all about the bending of light .
• Reflection involves a change in direction of waves/light when they bounce off a obstacle or barrier.
• Refraction of light is apt by a change in speed and wavelength of the two or more waves.

Law's of Refraction :
1) The incident ray (i), refracted ray(r) and the normal to the interface of given two transparent media, all lie in same plane .
2) The ratio of sin of angle of incidence to the sin of angle of refraction is always constant for given media .
- The 2nd law of Refraction is also known as Snell’s Law of Refraction.
- It is given as
★ Example :
- In the case of light traveling from air into the water, light would be refracted towards the normal line !!
- This is so because the light itself is slowed down into the water .
