Niharika lent 5000 to her friend Ranjana for 6 months at the rate of interest 10% per annum. How much money should Ranjana return to Niharika after 6 months?​

Let the sum lent at 6%p.a. be Rs.x. Then,

 Sum lent at 9%p.a. is Rs.(5000−x)

 Given, X×6×1/100 + ( 5000/X)×9×1/100 =

390⇒1006x+450−1009x=390

⇒3X/100 = 60 ⇒ x=2000

∴ Required ratio =2000 : 3000=2:3.
