And his mothers age be 4x
: After 4 years nihars age= x+4
And his mothers age = 4x+4
If nihars mother is 3 times older than him after 4 years than = 3(x+4)

Now, comparing
4x+4=3(x+4)
4x+4=3x+12
4x-3x=12-4
x=8
Hence nihars present age = 8
And his mothers present age = 4x=. 4*12=48
