children are absent,

To find : How many children  are in Class 5 today

Solution:

Let say total Children   in class 5 =  10T

Children   in School Today  =  9/10

Children   in School   = (9/10)10T = 9T

Children absent  = 3

Total Students = Children Present + Children absent

=> 10T  = 9T + 3

=> T = 3

Children   in class 5 =  10T  = 10 * 3  = 30

Children   in class 5 Today = 9T = 9 * 3 = 27

27  children  are in Class 5 today
