Nishant has a piggy back containing 50 five _rupee coins,25 two _rupee coins and 75 one_rupee coin from the box. find the probability that she picks up (I) a two _rupee coin (ii) a five-rupee coin. (iii) not a one-rupee coin.

Total coins =50+25+75=150

so probability of two rupee coin=no.of total possible outcome/total possible outcome

=25/150

=1/6

ii) so probability of five rupee coin =no.of total possible outcome/total possible outcome

=50/150

1/3

iii) not a one rupee coin= 150-75=75

so probability of not a one rupee coin= no.of total possible outcome/total possible outcome

=75/150

=1/2
