Hiii friend,


Let the age of Rohit be X years

Then the age of nitin be 3X years.

After 3 years age of Rohit = (X+3) years


After 3 years age of nitin = (3X+3) years.


According to question,


3X+3 = 2(X+3)

3X+3 = 2X +6

3X -2X = 6-3

X = 3

Age of Rohit = X = 3 years.

and,


Age of Nitin = 3X = 3 × 3 = 9 years.

⇒Nithin's age = 3x
2(x+3) = (3x+3)
2x+6=3x+3
x=3
∴Rohit is 3 yrs old and nithin is 9 yrs old...
