Nitin is as old as 3 times Rohit is after 3 years , he will be twice as old as Rohit , find their present age ?

Let the present age of Rohit be x years
Nitin is 3 times Rohit's age
∴ Nitin's age = 3x
After 3 years,
Age of Rohit = x + 3
Age of Nitin = 3x + 3
According to the given condition.
2(x + 3) = 3x + 3
☛ 2x + 6 = 3x + 3
☛ 6 - 3 = 3x - 2x
∴ 3 = x
∴ Present age of Rohit ☛ x years
☛
∴ Present age of Nitin ☛ 3x years
☛ 3 × 3

Nithin age 3x + 3= 2(x+3)
3x+3=2x+6
x=3
age of nitin 3x=3×3=9
age of nitin 3x
after 3 years,
