The formula of speed is distance/time

So first we will calculate the time he takes for resting every 20 km of distance traveled by him  

Which is $\frac{150 \times 10}{2}=75$, converting minute in terms of hours, we get

=1 h 15 min

Now we will calculate the total time using Time $=\frac{\text { distance }}{\text {speed}}$

The formula  

Substituting the value $=\frac{150}{15}=10$

To get total time we subtract the time we got with the time taken for rest at particular interval.

We get

10h - 1h 15min =8 h 45 min

Total time = 8 h 45 min.
