Nitro group increase acidic strength more than methoxy group ?

In case of o-nitrophenol,nitro group is electron withdrawing in nature.Hence it stabilises anion and increases acidic strength. Whereas ino-methoxy phenol,methoxy group is electron donating in nature.Thus it destabilises the anion and hence decreases the acidic strength ofphenol.
