nitro group has -I effect while ch3 group has +I effect due to which in nitrobenzoic acid nitro group withdraw electon and hence more electronegative 0 get partial +ve charge due to which it easily donate an proton and behave as acedic in nature .While in methoxybenzoic acid ch3 group increase the electron density on 0_atom and hence it is less acidic
