SoluTion :-

We know that

 \star \large \sf \: Diagonal =  \sqrt{2}  \times side

 \large \sf \to \: 6 \sqrt{2}  =  \sqrt{2}  \times s

 \large \sf \to \:  \dfrac{6  \cancel{\sqrt{2}} }{ \cancel{ \sqrt{2}}}  = s

 \large \sf \to \: 6 = s

Now,

 \star \large \sf \: Perimeter = 4s

 \large \sf \to \: Perimeter = 4(6)

 \large \sf \to \: Perimeter \:  = 24 \: cm

by the Pythagoras theorem,

a^2+ a^2= 6√2^2

2a^2= 36*2

2a^2= 72

a^2 = 72/2

a^2 36

a=√36

a=6

perimeter of the square =4*side
