EVALUATION

Here it is given that Amir's father is five times as old as Amir.

Let present age of Amir = x years

So present age of Amir's father = 5x years

After 2 years

age of Amir = x + 2 years and age of Amir's father = 5x + 2 years

So by the given condition

$\sf{5x + 2 = 4(x + 2)}$

$\sf{ \implies \: 5x + 2 = 4x + 8}$

$\sf{ \implies \: x = 6}$

Hence

Present age of Amir = 6 years

Present age of Amir's father = 30 years
