The average monthly wage of a group of 10 persons is 9000.
So , the total amount of monthly wage of that group is 9000 × 10 = 90,000
If one leaves whose wage is 8100
then , the wage becomes 90,000-8100=81,900
and one joins in his place having a wage of 7200 then the wage becomes 81,900+7200=89100
Now divide the total amount by 10 since , total person remained same.
Dividing 89,000 by 10 you get 8900 which is your answer.
