Question :- Why is an ammeter connected in series and voltmeter un parallel in the circuit. ​

in series there is no division of current take place so complete current goes in ammeter which give correct reading.

in parallel the potential difference doesn't change so complete voltage goes in Voltmeter and give correct reading.
