no flame is observed when coal burns but a flame can be seen when a candle is lighted ? why?​

THE SUBSTANCES WHICH VAPOURIZE GIVES OFF FLAME BUT COAL DOES  NOT SO NO FLAME IS OBSERVED.Coal too burns in air producing carbon dioxide, heat and light.BUT NO FLAME CAN BE SEEN.CANDLE ON THE OTHER HAND VAPOURIZES AND GIVES OUT HEAT , LIGHT AND FLAME.
