No force is experienced by a stationary charge in a magnetic field. Why?

It is because magnetic force acts on moving charges . Since the charge is stationary , no magnetic force will act on it. F = q v B , ... Only a magnet or a current carrying conductor can experience force when placed in a magnetic field..
