because the parental body divides mitotically into two halves. each developed into new individual. it is a continuous process and common in unicellular organisms so they are immortal.

Answer:

Single-celled organisms multiply by binary fission or multiple-fission.

In case of binary fission, the parent body forms the reproductive unit and disappears after it divides.

There we cannot say that the parent or the single-celled organism died, rather it subdivided into two daughter cells.

This cycle continues and hence cannot say that the single-celled organism died.

So there is no natural death for these organisms.

Amoeba is an example of the same.
