It is true that morals always play an important role in making you a complete human being. In the chapter Birth we see Dr. Andrew displaying high morals. We find Joe Morgan waiting for Andrew Manson at midnight. Andrew Manson was tired and not in a proper frame of mind. Even then he accompanied Joe to his house.

After reaching Morgan’s house and checking Mrs. Morgan, he found there was still time for the delivery, he decided he would not leave the place till everything was over.

After the baby was born lifeless, he did not give up hope; he did his best to save the life of Mrs. Morgan first; and then he worked very hard to revive the baby. Finally he succeeded.
