Let us suppose that the molecule(gas) is 0zone(O3) which is triatomic
By the formula,
number of atoms = number of moles × Avogadro's number × number of atoms in the formula.
number of atoms = 0.1 × 6.02 × 10^23 × 3
number of atoms = 1.8069 × 10^23
NOTE : YOU HAVE TO MULTIPLY BY THREE BECAUSE OZONE (AS IN OUR EXAMPLE) IS A TRIATOMIC MOLECULE i.e. IT HAS THREE ATOMS IN THE FORMULA
IF IT WAS A TETRAATOMIC MOLECULE(4 ATOMS) , THEN WE HAD TO MULTIPLY BY 4 AND SO ON.
