for 16000 km

fuel used is 16000/6

and for 500000 cars fuel(gasoline) used is
500000× 16000/6= solve it u will get ur answer

I think you need to find the gasoline consumption per year

Total distance travelled by all the cars = 500000 x 16000 = 8 x 10^9

For 6 km --- 1 Litre gasoline is needed

For 1 km --- 1/6 Litre gasoline is needed

there fore for 8 x 10^9 km = 1/6 x 8 x 10^9 = 1.3334 x 10^9 L gasoline will be required
