Heya !!

Here's the answer !!

1 Meiosis = 4 pollen grains

y Meiosis = 1000 pollen grains

4 × y = 1000

y = 1000/4

y = 250

It can also be obtained using a simple formula :

number of Meiosis for Formation of pollen grains = n/4

where, n = number of pollen grains

Hence here, n/4 = 1000/4 = 250

Hope this helps you :)
