BaCO₃

1 mol of BaCO₃ ====> 3 mol of oxygen
x mol of BaCO₃ ====> 1.5 mol of oxygen

x = 1.5 / 3 = 0.5

∴ Half mol of BaCO₃ contains 1.5 mol of oxygen.

Answer:

0.5 moles  of BaCO_3 which contain 1.5 moles of oxygen.

Explanation:

One  molecule of barium carbonate contains 3 atoms of oxygen.

Then 1 mole of barium carbonate contains 3 moles of oxygen atom.

Then x moles of barium carbonate will contain 1.5 moles:

\frac{3}{1}\times x=1.5 mol of oxygen

x = 0.5 moles

0.5 moles  of BaCO_3 which contain 1.5 moles of oxygen.
