steps to draw:-

↔Hexan indicates that there are 6

carbons with all single bonds

↔At 2nd and 4th position we have

ketone functional group (=O)

↔keeping in mind that valency of

carbon is 4 fill the remaining hydrogens

Number of sigma bonds:-

Number of C-H bonds+number of

oxygen bonds+number of C-C

bonds=10+2+5=17
