So this is a function and a function is always defined in its Domain.
A Domain is a set, which includes all the values of x for which y is possible. So basically if you go on putting values of x you pretty check if y is possible or not and the values of x is included in Domain.
In y = x² - 2x, Domain will be all real numbers.
So basically, no of values of x is Infinite. [are you sure that this is a correct question?]
