No rainbow could be observed from the surface of the moon by the astronauts. What could be the possible reason ?

We can see the rainbow because when the observer is between the rain and the source of light and since on the moon there is source of light an observer but there is no rain and that's why we can't see the rainbow on the moon this could be the possible reason
