One who doesn't take a risk can never gain anything new. Yes, this point is obvious from the poem 'The Road Not Taken' by Robert Frost. Avoiding a risk is a very easy task which many of us do to secure their positions from any danger. As a result, he (an individual) will do the thing which others do. There is no uniqueness about it. On the other hand, the one who take risks and tries to achieve a result from it, he is not sure of the what kind of results can be achieved. Thus, he can achieve the uniqueness which the others don't earn. So, taking a risk ensures that the type will come will a unique one and something new can be gained from it ( it doesn't matter whether the result is negative or positive).
