The amount of work done is the change in potential energy between the two points A and B .

Let us assume that the potential at the point A is Va .

Let potential at the point B be Vb .

Potential energy at A = - 200 × Va .

Potential energy of B = - 200 × Vb .

Potential energy of B - potential energy of A = work done

⇒ ( -200 × Vb ) - ( - 200 × Va ) = 10 J

⇒ - 200 Vb + 200 Va = 10 J

⇒ 20 Va - 20 Vb = 1 J

⇒ Va - Vb = 1/20

⇒ Va - Vb = 0.05

⇒ Va - Vb > 0

⇒ Va > Vb

Potential at point A is more than B .

Answer :-

As we know V=W/Q

V=10 J/200 C

  =0.05

therefore, the pd is 0.05V

moved from point A to B hence A is at higher potential
