Given :-

Circumference of base of cone is 220/7 cm and slant height is 13 cm.

2\pi r=\frac{220}{7}

2\frac{22}{7}r= \frac{220}{7}

r=5cm

Formula to be used:-

Curved surface area of cone = πrl

r is the radius

l is the slant height of the cone.

Area of circle = πr^{2}

Total surface area:-

Curved surface area of cone + Area of circle

=πrl +  πr^{2}

= \frac{22}{7} *5*13+\frac{22}{7}*25

= \frac{22}{7}(65+25)

= \frac{22}{7}*90

= 282.85 cm^{2}

According to question,

We know that,

Circumference of base of cone = 2πr

[ Put the values ]

⇒ 220/7 = 2 × 22/7 × r

⇒ 220/7 = 44/7 × r

⇒ r = 220/7 × 7/44

⇒ r = 220/44

r = 5 cm

Now,

We ask to find "Total surface area of cone" ,

We know that,

Total surface area of cone = πr(l + r)

[ Put the values ]

⇒ TSA = 22/7 × 5(13 + 5)

⇒ TSA = 22/7 × 5(18)

⇒ TSA = 22/7 × 90

⇒ TSA = 22 × 12.8

TSA = 281.6 cm²

Therefore,

The total surface area of a cone is 281.6 cm².
