log2(x+2) - log(3x+5) = log 3

log 2(x+2) / 3x+5 = log 3

cancelling log both sides

2x + 4 / 3x +5 = 3

2x + 4 = 9x + 15

-11 = 7x

x = -11/7

Answer:

x=3

Step-by-step explanation:

log 2 + log (x+2) -log(3x+5) =log3

log(x+2)-log(3x+5)= log 3 -log 2

log x+2/3x+5 = log 3/2

x+2= (3x+5) × 3/2

x+2= 9x+15/2

2x+4=9x+15

-7x = 11

x = -11/7
