This is because very close relations and trade expansion causes limitations, bondages ,boundaries of capability e.tc; living in a relationship means value of opinions of both side which sometimes might take a format of debates ,issues discussions due to "dissatisfaction".Expansion of trade is also something like that, it kills the freedom of some people and livelihoods of many .Newer trades policies(expansion) mean end or vanishing of some older ones which affect the life of people which were doing their job merrily and peacefully but now struggling to continue their livelihoods in the same way.
