Answer:

(2n-1)/n^2 or option 2

Explanation:

distance travelled in n seconds sn = un + 1/2(an^2)

as u = 0

sn = 1/2*a*n^2

and sn-1 = 1/2*a*(n-1)^2

distance travelled in nth second = sn - (sn-1)

= 1/2*a*(n^2-(n-1)^2)

= 1/2*a*(2n-1)

ratio is (1/2*a*(2n-1))/1/2*a*n^2

( 2n-1)/n*2

Answer: (2) 2n - 1 / n^2

Explanation:

Distance travelled by a body in 'n'th second is s n = u + a / 2 (2n - 1)

Distance travelled in 'n' seconds is

s = un + 1 / 2 an^2

u is zero since the body starts from rest.

s n / s = {a/2 (2n - 1) / 1/2 an^2

Therefore, the ratio =   s n / s = 2n - 1 / n^2

Hope it helps :)
