Two glass jars filled with water are taken. Two onion bulbs are taken and placed in each of the jars. Observe the growth of roots in both the jars. Measure the length of the roots daily. On Day 3cut the root tips of the onion in jar 2 by 1cm and measure their lengths each day for 2 to 3 more days.
