We know that if the bases are same and the operator is multiplication (*), the powers get added.

so, 10^-8 * 10^1

= 10^(-8+1)

=10^-7

Answer:

  {10}^{ - 8}  =  \frac{1}{ ({10})^{8} }  \\  = \frac{1}{ ({10})^{8} } \times 10 =  \frac{1}{100000000}  \times 10 \\  =  \frac{1}{10000000}  \\  \frac{1}{ {10}^{7} }  =  {10}^{ - 7}
