The diffusion of a gas is inversely proportional to the square-root of the Molecular Weight of the gas.

Molecular weight of Bromine =160

Molecular weight of NO2= 46

Molecular weight of CO2=44

Molecular weight of Methane=16.

So the gas with lowest Molecular Mass diffuses most rapidly.

The gas with lowest Molecular Mass Methane will diffuse most rapidly.
