This is not true, as the atomic radius or the size of an element depends on the no. of electrons in the outermost shell.
The lesser the no. of electrons, the more the atomic radius of the element as the nucleus's force of attraction towards the outermost shell is least. Hence you will find that Lithium has a higher atomic radius compared to that of the Neon(within the same period)
