Non-metals are bad conductor of electricity. But Graphite is a good conductor of electricity. Why?

Due to the property of electropositivity..its a good conductor of electricity.

The structural composition of Graphite is of Carbon atoms attached to form a 'plates' & various 'plates' stacked on each other. Now these plates have weak Vqn Der Waal forces between them & thus are weakly attached. This allows for the free movement of electrons between the 'plates' & results in good conduction of electricity in Graphite.
