Non-uniform Motion
When a body covers unequal distances in
equal intervals of time along a straight line
then the motion of the body is termed as
non-uniform. For example, when a ball is
rolled on the ground or when the brakes are
applied on a fast moving car, it describes a
motion that is non-uniform. It is because the
distances covered by the ball or the car in equal
intervals of time are not the same.
