Students who donated blood = 60% of the students

Therefore,

Students who did not donate blood = (100 - 60)%

= 40% of the total students

Also, number of students who did not donate blood = 480

Therefore,

40% of the total students = 480

=> Total students = 480 × 100/40

=> Total students = 1200 students

Hence:-

There are 1200 students in the school.
