normally a vein opens into a large vein or into the heart but does not end in capillaries. which one or more veins in humans is /are exceptions to this rule?

hepatic portal vein and hypophyseal portal vein present in digestive system and brain respectively are exceptions to the rule that a vein opens into a large vein or into the heart.
