Though there are such villages in India which have splendid agricultural overturn, there do exist extreme poor and remote villages where there is no access to even electricity.

In these villages, there are no infrastructural and political developments.

No developments lead to primary subsistence farming which is non profitable and puts them in debt cycles.

Those people don't even have access to water and are left behind without any resources and hence tend to be poor.

There right be some villages where the land is not fit for cultivation and hence agricultural activities are not possible. They might need to depend upon other industries.

Hope this helps!

This means that many villages even now depend on monsoon rains for irrigation as proper irrigation facilities have still not been
constructed.
