Tips to fight depression and anxiety among school students :

1. Practice relaxation exercises like yoga, deep breathing and meditation.

2. Explore nature through long walks and travel.

3. Exercises play an important role in reducing stress, anxiety and depression.  Exercises like brisk walking, swimming and cycling are highly recommended.

4. Connect regularly with family and friends as talking and sharing one's feelings are known to reduce stress and anxiety.

5. Take a balanced diet. Avoid stimulants like coffee, alcohol and tobacco.

6. Take eight hours of undisturbed sleep.

7. Do not spend an unhealthy amount of time on social media.

8. Have faith in your abilities.

9. Develop a hobby like reading, gardening, listening to music etc. that you enjoy doing

10. Volunteer for social causes that are close to your heart.
