We are professionals in project management, and we are proud of it. The small project review is one of several Project Management elements that are essential for effective delivery.

Instead of being planned, started, and conducted in a way that helps the review team understand what's truly going on in a project/portfolio, project reviews are generally started as an organizational reaction to a significant or highly visible project failure. Project reviews, in our opinion, should be incorporated in any project/portfolio to assist projects and organizations in avoiding avoidable failure and learning from the inevitable failures that occur while attempting to adapt and innovate.
